Choose Queen for a U.S. Queen mattress or King for a U.S. King mattress. The Queen frame measures 84.6 × 63.4 × 39.4 inches; the King frame measures 84.6 × 79.6 × 39.4 inches (length × width × height). Recommended mattress thickness is 8–12 inches for both sizes.

Do I need a box spring?
No. The solid wood slat platform supports your mattress directly without a box spring.
Does Japanese joinery mean no hardware?
No. The frame combines Japanese-inspired mortise-and-tenon joints with reinforced hardware. The joints help align the parts and secure the fit; hardware reinforces the connections.
Can I store items underneath?
Yes. There is 7.9 inches of clearance under the bed for low-profile storage bins. Check your bin dimensions before choosing storage. The 12.6-inch leg height is a separate measurement, not the usable storage clearance.
