The included slatted platform supports your mattress directly. Partial Japanese-style mortise-and-tenon connections work with heavy-duty screw fasteners and reinforced hardware at load-bearing connections.
02 / A More Secure Mattress Position
The slats sit approximately 1 inch below the side rails, creating a recessed position that helps reduce mattress shifting.
03 / Space You Can Use
7.9 inches of underbed clearance leaves room for suitable storage boxes and cleaning access. Check the height of your storage boxes or robot vacuum for fit.

Materials, Assembly & Care
FSC-certified moso bamboo frame components are combined with engineered wood and metal. Both colors have a lacquered finish; Walnut is the finish color, not walnut wood.
Frame components, accessories, installation hardware and an installation manual arrive together in one package. Assembly is required. The detachable construction supports disassembly and reassembly for moving, making it practical for apartments, dorms and guest rooms.
For routine care, wipe with a damp cloth.

How do I choose between Queen and King?
Select the size that matches your mattress, then compare the overall frame dimensions above with your room. Queen has a maximum recommended weight of 800 lbs; King has a maximum recommended weight of 1,000 lbs.
Is this made entirely from solid bamboo?
No. The construction combines bamboo wood, engineered wood and metal. Walnut refers to the dark-brown finish, not walnut wood.
Is the joinery completely screw-free?
No. The frame combines partial mortise-and-tenon joinery with screw reinforcement. Assembly is required.
