Seems sturdy. Don't know why more furniture manufacturers don't don't Japanese inspired joinery. Obviously easy to put together but was worried it would rock back and forth. But it doesn't seem to (in my sons room so I'm not on it daily)

Shoutout to the other review on this bed. You weren't kidding, this took us three minutes to build (no screws, Allen wrenches, drills!) and is the sturdiest bed frame we've had so far. For this price, it's a shame that I've spent hundreds of dollars on bed frames prior to this one. We were especially happy there's not legs in the middle because our previous bed frames scratched up our hardwood floors, this one won't! Don't waste money on a different bed frame - get this one!!
